Barnett Ranch is 728-acre preserve purchased by the county in 2002. The preserve contains a variety of habitats, including riparian forest, coastal sage scrub, chaparral and non-native grassland. The preserve also has two formal trails.

The Ramona Mainstage Theatre was comparable to any of the art deco cinematic palaces when it opened in 1947, back in the era when going to the movies was supposed to be an opulent experience that was something special. Ramona Mainstage now operates as a performing arts facility, presenting a diverse range of live entertainment, centering on theatrical performance, music, dance, comedy and celebrity appearances.

Every May the BIGGEST show in town is the Ramona Rodeo!  Cowboys and cowgirls travel from near and far to show and compete in horse and bull riding contests. Vendors sell wares, food and drink booths serve guests, and live music entertains all who stay at night.
